2022 Sang de Pigeon Blanc, Barossa

A blend of Roussanne, Semillon and Muscat à Petits Grains. The Barossa enjoyed a mild summer with fair winter rains, ideal conditions for aromatic grape varieties.

For wine nerds like me: Handpicked on the 4th, 12th and 17th of March. All destemmed, the Roussanne was pressed and fermented in tank while the Semillon and Stonegarden Muscat were pressed to barrel.  All wild yeast fermented and matured on lees for nine months.

1450 bottles produced.
